I "read" both Infected and Contagious as audio books from[...] and loved both of them. I wouldn't be surprised to see these novels make it to the big screen.

Lee Frey, author of Velocity^2 Mr. Sigler's books are the best! If you like your thrillers gritty, bloody and with a little sci-fi mixed in for good measure, you MUST read this book! This book looked interesting, and I was hoping to be scared and freaked out, but I just did not like it. I love to read scary books, and gore does not bother me all that much if it contributes something to the story. I only made it through about 1/2 to 2/3 of the book, but the progressive self-mutilation done by the main character just got to be too much. I agree with the other negative reviews that the story and characters in this book were frustrating and annoying. It was also very slow; nothing seems to happen, at least nothing really interesting. I am surprised so many people enjoyed this book. I do not recommend it. Loved this podcast. I d/l'ed this book from Podio. Very fun. Very entertaining. Scott could make a living reading books. Wonderful book and good production. Highly recommended The book starts out with the CIA performing surveillance on Americans, and carrying out undercover operations inside the USA... PLONK!
